Jenna is from Colorado and grew up in a Catholic family. Her faith was tried for the first time when her uncle committed suicide. Throughout this difficult trial, Jenna witnessed her family live out the faith that she had learned from her Catholic education. But it wasn't until she went to Peru on a mission trip that she realized that being Catholic means having a personal relationship with God.
