“From the Darkness to the Light” is the experience in many lives transformed by God’s intervention, causing them to begin “Changing Tracks.” Although they come from different backgrounds and their conversions have taken place among differing circumstances, they all give thanks to Jesus Christ for having come to find them. They thank Him for having given meaning to their lives, for curing their deep wounds, for giving them happiness and for filling them with love. Changing Tracks: Mike Devault

Mike Devault worked for 15 years at one of the biggest video game companies: EA Sports. He climbed the ladder of his professional career to become the creative director of the video game “Tiger Woods.” Success, money, fancy cars… in short: a dream job. However, even though he had everything, a sadness and emptiness grew within him. In the midst of this darkness, the Lord started tapping on his shoulder to try and catch his attention until Mike finally saw that God was the one guiding him. Discover how one book changed Mike’s heart and his whole life.

Changing Tracks: George Contois

Today on board our train we have George Contois. In his childhood and adolescence, he attended a Baptist church with more than 10,000 worshippers. His youth group had over 350 kids in it. His whole life revolved around his faith and going to church: worship services, choir, discipleship, youth group. However, when he joined the army, everything changed. God no longer had a place in his life. Media and internet took over. He found a job, got married at 21 and everything seemed to be going great for him. George still believed in God but didn’t think he needed Him, until his daughter's education and his father’s death made him ask himself a lot of questions...

Changing Tracks: Fr. Fred Parke

Fr. Fred felt called to the priesthood when he was a child. His faith was nourished by his mother, a faithful Catholic. His father was Methodist, but respected his wife’s faith. When Fr. Fred went to college he was faced with a whole new world: sex and booze was the drug of choice at the time. He realized that he had to make his faith his own, and the call he felt as a child to enter the seminary came back to him. He then experienced a strong faith crisis until the Lord removed the scales from his eyes.

Changing Tracks: Jiza Zito

Learning of her brother's illness strongly affected Jiza Zito at a very young age. For the whole family it was a tremendous blow. Jiza's soul was plunged into darkness and depression to the point that she repeatedly attempting suicide. But Jiza began to rediscover the hope and meaning of her life when she began Confirmation classes. Get her story in Changing Tracks.

Changing Tracks: Mac Hill

Mac Hill is a seminarian from Jacksonville, Florida. Before entering seminary Mac's idea of God was a distant man with a long white beard who makes rules that we have to follow. In his search for his identity, Mac set off to be the coolest and most popular guy, on the football team, going to all the parties... This lifestyle led him to spend a day in jail after having a car accident in which he tested positive for alcohol. Find out here how God enters into his life again in a way that he never expected.

Changing Tracks: Antoinette Moynihan

Antoinette Moynihan discovered her deep ignorance of the faith when her daughter began to ask questions about it. She understood that she had to learn more about her faith in order to give answers that she should already know. A pilgrimage with her husband and her daughter to Medjugorje organized by her parish made her entire family take a 180˚ turn.
