“From the Darkness to the Light” is the experience in many lives transformed by God’s intervention, causing them to begin “Changing Tracks.” Although they come from different backgrounds and their conversions have taken place among differing circumstances, they all give thanks to Jesus Christ for having come to find them. They thank Him for having given meaning to their lives, for curing their deep wounds, for giving them happiness and for filling them with love. Come on board this train and let yourself be guided by their stories so that you can also begin “Changing Tracks.”

Changing Tracks: Delores Hambleton

Delores Hambleton's "Changing Tracks" is the amazing story of how a little girl's secret desire to become Catholic would one day come true. After a life far away from grace, she discovered that the truth wasn't in the Baptist church; that happiness wasn't to be found in drugs, promiscuity, alcohol; and that the only way to come out of the darkness of sin into the light was to open herself to the one truth: Jesus Christ.

Changing Tracks: Casandra Lim

Casandra Lim is from Singapore. Even though she was born into a non-Catholic faith, her aunt took her to catechism classes and she was baptized. Later on, she left the Faith. It was at that moment when she began to experience an unquenchable thirst. Thanks to a friend's invitation, she turned to a Catholic youth group and discovered that what she was missing was God.

Changing Tracks: Amy Karney

Amy Karney's childhood wasn't exactly what you'd call "easy." From an early age, she began to work as a model, which introduced her into the world of parties, impurity and superficiality. One day, she met a Catholic man who liked her. She liked him, too, but there was something she had to put right: herself.

Changing Tracks: Sally Read

Sally Read is an English poet, born in an atheist and anti-Catholic family. She cited Marx and supported euthanasia and homosexuality. While researching information for a new book, she met a Catholic priest and thus discovered that the Catholic Church is not a church of "scandals", but the place where Jesus is truly present.

Changing Tracks: Amelia Ong

Amelia, from Singapore, was born into a family with taoist roots. Although baptized at the age of 14, she still had not experienced a personal encounter with the Lord. But when her family falls apart and she finds herself helpless, Amelia turns to the Blessed Sacrament to find the strength to continue forward.

Changing Tracks: Kathie Cooper

This week Kathie Cooper gets on the train. She is from the U.S. and tells us how she got to know Our Lord and ended up entering the Catholic Church. She is from a non-practicing Protestant family, and would simply accompany her grandfather to the Lutheran Church on Christmas while staying at his house. When she finished high-school, she decided to study nursing and went to the Jesuits' College in California. She made both Protestant and Catholic friendsthere. Kathie began to assist at Mass on Sunday while attending Protestant Bible studies during the week.
In a moment of despair, she cried out to the Lord, "God, I know you are there! I want to know you!" She left nursing and began to study philosophy. A woman from her Bible study group tried to convince her to stop going to Mass and to enter the Evangelical Church.
In this program she tells us how she cleared her doubts about the Eucharist, the Virgin Mary, and Scripture, thus being able to finally enter the Catholic Church.

How can I help?

Thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, up until now we have been able to continue our evangelization through the media. The needs, however, are growing and many times there are unexpected expenses due to maintenance, the purchasing of new machines, etc.
